Choosing a nursery for a child implies a long term commitment between the nursery, the child and the family. The admissions process will provide an opportunity for parents and the nursery to gain knowledge about each other Grandma Nursery is the right choice for the child.

Terms and Conditions

Registration

When registering your child Grandma Nursery must receive a signed and fully completed application form, as well as a non-refundable QR 1000 registration fee, this registration fee is necessary in order to secure your child’s place in the nursery.

Fees and Absence

Fees should be paid on the first day of every month or term, according to the agreement. Any late payments that exceed one week will then be fined QR 300.

A half month fees must be paid in advance if you are planning to take your child out of the nursery for more than one month. If this fee is not paid we will assume your child will not be returning to the nursery.

NOTE: There should be specific month when to resume. If not, deposit/ advance payment will be forfeited. If your child is absent from the nursery due to family holidays, sickness or any other reason under no circumstances can fees be refunded or transferred.

Parents are requested to inform the nursery if they are planning to withdraw their child from the nursery two weeks in advance of doing so, failure to do so will mean the parent must pay a full month fees.

A sibling discount is available for families with more than one child that is registered and attending the nursery full time; however the discount will only apply to one child.

If the child fails to connect to the Nursery within a period of 3 months, another registration fee will be imposed.

The nursery reserves the right to charge parent when they do not collect their child at the agreed time. A charge is QR 50 for every 30 minutes thereafter.

The place will be cancelled if your child didn't attend to the Nursery and fail to contact us for a period of one week.

Booboo room:

Only five days a week fees is required to be paid to have a place in the Booboo room.

You will be required to pay the normal monthly fees regardless of whether your child attends or not.

General Information

Parent’s area requested to inform the Nursery of any food, medicine, activity or any other circumstances that may cause the child to have an allergic reaction/allergy. Parents must provide details in writing, of the severity of the reaction/allergy and must continue to inform the Nursery of any changes/progress to the condition in writing when they become aware.

Parents are requested to inform the Nursery of any changes to all information kept in the Nursery.

Personal Property and Belongings

Grandma Nursery cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to children's property, it is the parent’s responsibility to name and clearly label all items of clothing. We strongly suggest that all toys, books jewellery or any other affection are left at home.

Security

Under no circumstances will the child be allowed to leave the Nursery with anyone unknown to the Nursery staff, unless the parent has arranged this in advance with the Nursery staff. If the parent has made alternative arrangements by telephone the Nursery will require the name, address and telephone number of the person permitted to collect the child, in addition proof of identity of the person collecting the child will be requested upon arrival at the Nursery.

CCTV Access:

CCTV access will be given only to the parents whose kids are registered in GrandMa Nursery.

Operating Hours

Grandma Nursery is open from 06:00am – 14:30pm, day care can be provided from 14:30pm until 18:30pm. If you have not already requested day care and are late collecting your child from the Nursery, a late collection charge of QR 50 will be imposed.

Please be punctual.

Daycare Late Pick up Policy

The nursery closes at 6:30 pm. If your child is collected after this time, a late fee of QR 300 will be issued. If the parents are late to pick up their kids after 7:00 pm, they will be receiving a verbal warning. The second incident shall result to the termination of our service with immediate effect.

Illness

For the health and wellbeing of the other children in the nursery, Should a child have an infectious disease, such as an eye/ear infection or sickness and diarrhea, they should not return to nursery until they have been clear for at least 48 hours; in addition a doctor’s note stating that the child is no longer contagious must be given to the nursery on arrival.

If a contagious infection is identified in the nursery, parents will be informed to enable them to spot the early signs of this illness. All equipment and resources that may have come into contact with a contagious child will be cleaned and sterilised thoroughly to reduce the spread of infection.

If a child becomes ill during the nursery day, their parent(s) will be contacted and asked that they must pick their child up as soon as possible. During this time the child will be cared for in a quiet, calm area with their key person.

Children who have head lice must not attend the nursery until the head lice have been completely removed, in order to prevent other children getting head lice, please be aware if you bring your child in with head lice the Nursery will ask you to take them home.

As some children my by highly allergic to some foods we ask that parents do not send children to the nursery with any of the following,

Behavior

Grandma Nursery will not accept or tolerate any aggressive behavior; therefore if any child is continuously behaving in an aggressive manor, we will ask the parent to remove their child from the nursery until his or her behavior has improved.

Agreement

These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement and understanding between the parents and the Nursery. We reserve the right to update/amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. One Month notice will be given of any changes that are made.
